This weeks most looked at item is the M. Hohner’s Hawaiian Guitar Trutone Pitch pipe No P8 as showed here
http://www.fivestargeneralstore.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3
This comes from my mother-in-laws’ collection – Her brother had it when learning Hawaiian guitar before he entered the war effort – (probably about 1925 – 1935) – he was killed in WWII.
Sure the box is a little deformed but most of the above had NO BOX.
All the notes work –what a deal – the notes are E – A – E – A – C# - E
I did a little research on these pipes and seems as if I could find that –
P1 Violin / mandolin 4 note 10.00 -45.00
P3 Vocal
P4 Vocal – Old Style 10 note 8.00 – 25.00
P9 Tenor Banjo / cello 4 note 10.00- 50.00
P10 Ukulele 4 Note 33.00
Of course I am no experts on the subject – feel free to add info to this if you wish.
So if this is a P8 and its for Hawaiian guitar for a mere 6.99 – how can you lose ? – Sure the box is a little deformed but most of the above had NO BOX. All the notes work –what a deal –
After this week the price WILL go up !!!! So better buy before May 1 if you want this guy for your collection at this price –Remember I ship worldwide
