This weeks most viewed item is a music book of 60's hits and has the name "Bugs Bower" on it.
I had never heard of this name before so I set out trying to find out who this man is or was. Seems a lot of music books have his name on them. All being instruction type or music collection.
Actually his real name is Maurice Bower. Looking for him on the internet will bring up loads of music books with his name on them . However his bio or history on this man is really lacking . So far I found out the following "facts"
He co-wrote a popular hit song sang by Perry Como called "Caterina" in 1962
Wrote a lot of children songs - Such "PeterPan" and a lot doing with animals
Possibility played a sax or trumpet
Famous for "Bop Duets" for brass instruments
Co-wrote with Peter Hass and often Jack Wolf
Wrote "My Boyfriend Got a Beatle Haircut "
Here is a page I found on him that is quite informitive
